I'm curious to understand what people's current expensive is across the 52 African states on the continent, and all the countries and their cities, and for those living in the Diaspora.

Where are you hanging out? What films are you consuming or producing? What music, bands are you playing? Where are you getting your fashion?

I don’t mean which city has the most goths, I’m just wondering which city’s ambience, culture and vibe is most suitable for a goth. I’m not even talking specifically about the music scene itself, or even gothic architecture, but rather trying to find which city on earth would be most suitable for the goth mindset and emotional landscape.

My personal thoughts are London, not just for the weather but also the size and diversity of it; it’s a place where you can dress however without feeling too judged. Maybe NYC’s the same but I haven’t been there. Of course the UK has the music history too: Joy Division, Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Siouxsie and The Banshees, etc. So there’s that.

But I wanted to hear other people’s thoughts – what do you think??

I'm looking for future (underrated) places to live/visit that have vibrant goth/nerd/gamer type communities with clubs and events.

I've lived Oly, Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, Palm Springs. and Santa Cruz/Monterey. And all are now too expensive to move back to.

I'm curious if there are any mid/sw US oasises?

Not my event: my IG algorithm sent it my way, but I think I’ll check it out. It’s for all levels, which is good cuz I’m not a yogi in any way.
